Istanbul Awarded 2027 European Aquatics U23 and Artistic Swimming Championships
European Aquatics and the European Olympic Committees (EOC) have jointly announced that Istanbul will host two major continental championships in 2027: the European Aquatics U23 Swimming Championships and the European Aquatics Artistic Swimming Championships.
Both tournaments will be staged in Istanbul as part of the broader 2027 European Games program. The decision builds on the city's expanding aquatic sports infrastructure, with modern venues designated to accommodate several hundred athletes across Europe.
