33rd Istanbul Jazz Festival Welcomes Global Icons and Contemporary Soul Artists
The 33rd Istanbul Jazz Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), has transformed various historical venues, open-air parks, and concert halls across the city into active performance spaces. The annual event features a curated lineup of international legends alongside emerging experimental musicians. Among the headline performances, bassist Marcus Miller returned to the festival with "WE WANT MILES!", a tribute concert commemorating the centenary of his mentor, Miles Davis, alongside collaborators Bill Evans and Mike Stern. Additionally, American soul group Thee Sacred Souls made their live debut in Türkiye, while veteran Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant performed acoustic arrangements alongside the project Saving Grace and vocalist Suzi Dian.
