Physicists and molecular biophysicists from Istanbul University’s Science Faculty have completed a computational investigation into the peptide compound thymotrinan. Published in Scientific Reports, the study utilized quantum chemical calculations, vibrational spectroscopy, and in silico molecular docking simulations to evaluate the compound’s structural stability, binding affinities, and potential neuroprotective and immunomodulatory properties.
