Turkish Airlines has announced long-term operational plans to establish direct, nonstop flights connecting Istanbul and Sydney, scheduled to commence in 2027. The ultra-long-haul route will utilize specially modified Airbus A350-1000 aircraft designed to handle the extended flight duration and distance without refueling. This service aims to capture a larger share of the transit market between Europe, Asia, and the Oceania region.
