ISTANBUL — Prominent figures from the New York City contemporary dance scene, Dr. Mark DeGarmo and Jan Hanvik, are scheduled to deliver keynote addresses at an upcoming international cultural symposium in Istanbul. Dr. DeGarmo, founder and artistic director of Mark DeGarmo Dance (MDD), alongside Jan Hanvik, MDD’s development officer and cultural specialist, will present insights on choreography, arts education, and international cultural exchange during the event held from June 24 to June 26, 2026.
