Indian Crew Rescued After Being Stranded Off Istanbul Coast for 10 Months

Four Indian sailors who were trapped on the abandoned, Mongolia-flagged container vessel AZRA C since August 2025 have been successfully evacuated. The ship had been moored in the Sea of Marmara off the coast of Istanbul, leaving the crew stranded for 10 months before their eventual rescue and extraction.
