Pegasus Airlines Expands Network with New Istanbul-Tripoli Route
In a significant development for regional aviation and international connectivity, Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has announced the launch of a new direct route between Turkey and Libya. Starting on October 5, 2026, the airline will commence daily flights connecting Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen International Airport with Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli. The move is expected to facilitate smoother travel, bolster business relations, and increase passenger capacity between the two nations.
