Inquest Links Anaesthetic to British Teacher's Death Following Hair Transplant in Turkey

An inquest into the death of Martyn Latchman, a 38-year-old schoolteacher from Bedford, England, has revealed that a local anaesthetic was linked to his passing. Latchman travelled to an Istanbul hospital for a hair transplant procedure in July 2025, during which he suffered medical complications. He subsequently passed away from resulting injuries, prompting legal and medical reviews into surgical safety protocols for international patients.
