European Union and Türkiye Issue Joint Statement Following High-Level Economic Dialogue in İstanbul
On July 2, 2026, senior officials from the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye convened in İstanbul to conduct the High-Level Economic Dialogue (HLED). Co-chaired by mutual delegations, the bilateral meeting concluded with an official joint strategic statement addressing mutual macro-economic goals, trade agreements, and structural economic cooperation mechanisms.
