Wanted Moroccan Drug Trafficker Apprehended in Şişli
Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Unit conducted a joint operation resulting in the detention of Mohamed Boulakhrif, an internationally wanted drug trafficking suspect. The suspect, who was sought under an Interpol diffusion notice, was apprehended at a residence in Istanbul's Şişli district. Investigators noted that the suspect had utilized encrypted communication applications in an attempt to evade surveillance. Following the raid, he was transferred to a local police station for ongoing procedural actions.
