Russian Officials Frame Istanbul Peace Talks with Ukraine as a "Secondary Issue" 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov recently commented on the prospect of resuming peace negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul. Despite the city's established history of facilitating prisoner exchanges and early peace proposals, Lavrov described the immediate resumption of these talks as a "secondary issue," indicating that active negotiations are not currently the primary focus for the Russian administration.
